This release makes importing easier from EndNote on the desktop app.

We have a full set of instructions located here:

We also added support for converting PDF annotations to our annotations. For instance, if you import a PDF from EndNote that has annotations we will convert those to our annotations so that you can edit them and see them in the left-hand panel. This works with many different annotations so make sure to try it out and let us know if you have any issues!

We updated our network proxy support. When the program detects that you are behind a proxy with a password we will prompt you for that proxies username or password:

We also received several requests to read papers side by side. If you hold down shift and click read now you can get a new reader window. This will allow you to have multiple papers side by side or have two papers in a full-screen window!

The reader also now shows you a preview of the text for notes. Hover over your post-it or text notes to see your content. Also, instead of double-clicking to edit you only need to single click to be able to edit them now:

A minor change is also showing you how many pages a paper has so you can easily tell how big a PDF is.

Another minor improvement is that the desktop app will now remember the size and position of the app when you close it so when you open it will be in the same place you left it.

That's it for this week. We are working on some big updates and hope to have them out before the end of the year so stay tuned!
